About Aethionema: Aethionema is a large genus of solid performers for the rock or alpine garden. Try placing them in crevices in stonewalls. The flowers range from white to light purple with most being in shades of pink. They do equally well in the garden, preferring lime soil. As an added bonus they are long blooming.
