From UCONN plant breeder, Dr. Mark Brand, comes this cross of P. 'Heavy Metal' and P. 'Haense Herms', an upright specimen with glaucous foliage in spring that takes on ruby-burgundy hues mid-summer into autumn. The intensifying color with the seasons progression and the inflorescence that emerges in late summer create added interest. Grows 36-48" tall with a 24-30" spread.
