Ornamental grass with 2' tall, dark green blades and attractive, white flower heads. An excellent addition to shady areas or rocky locations.

    Common Name:Snowy Woodrush
    Hardiness Zones:3-8
    Deer Resistant:Yes
Growing Tips: Plant in well drained, acidic soil.

About Luzula: The soft, downy hairs found on the leaves of the Luzula catch and hold the morning dew, making the foliage glisten while softening the lines of neighboring plants. The many uses include rock, alpine or woodland gardens, planted alone or en masse. They are a good choice to interplant with bulbs. Many have showy flowers that appear early.
