This low-growing, clumping form makes a great groundcover with its textured, medium green foliage and sturdy, pale pink-lavender flower spikes blooming mid-summer. Grows 16-18" tall with an 18" spread. A great addition to any border planting!

    Common Name:Betony or Lamb’s Ears
    Hardiness Zones:4-8
    Deer Resistant:No
Growing Tips: Plant in well drained soil.

About Stachys: A fairly large genus, many Stachys are known as Lamb’s Ear due to their soft, fuzzy leaves, however, some Stachys don’t share this characteristic. Depending upon eventual height, they can be situated in the border or as an edger (groundcover).
