About Solidago: Solidago, whose common name is Goldenrod has received a bad rap in that they don’t cause allergies. The culprit is almost invariably ragweed, which often grows in the same spots as goldenrod. With many cultivars and hybrids to choose from for the fall border no garden should be without these wonderful, butterfly attracters. They also make a great cut flower.
