Papaver orientale ‘Mrs. Perry'

Beautiful salmon pink flowers have dark purple, near black, blotching at the base of each petal. The crepe-like blossoms bloom on 20-30" tall stems with light green, fern-like foliage.

    Common Name:Poppy
    Hardiness Zones:3-7
    Deer Resistant:Yes
Growing Tips: Plant in well drained soil.

About Papaver: Consider overplanting your poppies with a leafy perennial, ornamental grass or annual to fill the gap left after flowering and going dormant. When using as a cut flower singe the stem ends with a flame to prevent poppy sap from bleeding out. This will keep the poppy fresher longer.
