Papaver miyabeanum ‘Pacino’

6-8” tall, dense rosettes of hairy, mint green leaves bear charming, sulphur yellow flowers May-June. Ideal for rock gardens.

    Common Name:Alpine Poppy
    Hardiness Zones:3-8
    Deer Resistant:No
Growing Tips: Plant in well drained soil.

About Papaver: Consider overplanting your poppies with a leafy perennial, ornamental grass or annual to fill the gap left after flowering and going dormant. When using as a cut flower singe the stem ends with a flame to prevent poppy sap from bleeding out. This will keep the poppy fresher longer.
