This introduction from Roy Diblik of Northwind Perennial Farm has sturdy, upright, dark green blades that form a clump with interesting flower panicles emerging in late summer. The panicles are more contained in the clumps center, rather than arching outward like many grasses adding to its visual appeal. Grows 5-6' tall. Shows good vigor and is drought tolerant, once established.
