About Orostachys: Orostachys features whorls of succulent, fleshy, thickened leaves that produce delightful look-alike baby plants (offspring) on thin filaments. A nice addition to any rock or alpine garden but it looks especially nice trailing over stonewalls or out of window boxes. Adds texture and interest when placed in the front of the border.
