Nepeta x ‘Joanna Reed’   

From the garden of Joanna Reed, of Longview Farms, PA, comes this natural cross between N. sibirica and N. faassenii. The flowers are a darker violet than other nepetas, and it grows a good 36" tall.

About Nepeta: Nepeta is highly versatile and can be placed from the front to back of the garden, depending on the size. In shades of white to deep violet blue, this plant is often mistaken for lavender. Great for naturalizing and meadows. Attracts butterflies. Nice as a cut flower.
