Mukdenia rossii ‘Karasuba’   

This compact perennial forms clumps to 12" or taller and up to 24" wide, with medium green, palmate leaves that take on an attractive bronze cast in summer, transitioning to rich shades of red late summer into fall. Panicles of white bell flowers bloom on 16" tall, leafless stems in early spring. Native to the mountainous regions of China, Manchuria and Korea. Makes a nice groundcover for shady, woodland areas, gardens and borders.
