Intense, velvety maroon flowers on stocky, 30" stems. Flowers bloom throughout the summer, beginning in July and may rebloom if the plant is cut back. Excellent mildew resistance.

About Monarda: With a unique bloom, Monarda is a real magnet for butterflies and hummingbirds. Known to bloom a long period of time when spent flowers are removed, they can stand alone or be grouped together remembering to give room for air circulation between plants. Great as a cut flower.
