Brunnera macrophylla ‘King's Ransom’ PPAF

This sport of B. 'Jack Frost' has a slightly smaller habit than its parent with wide, pale yellow margins and a cream cast over its heart-shaped, silver leaves. After the attractive, powdery blue, forget-me-not flowers bloom in spring, the margins lighten up to a white coloring. Grows 10-12" tall and 12-15" wide. Lends itself to container planting due to its shorter stature.

    Common Name:Siberian Bugloss
    Hardiness Zones:3-8
    Deer Resistant:Yes
Growing Tips: Requires consistently moist soil.

About Brunnera: Brunnera is known as "Perennial Forget-me-not" because in spring it is covered in tiny, Wedgwood blue flowers with yellow centers typical of the old-fashioned forget-me-not plants. An added bonus is the large, attractive, heart-shaped leaves and their unique variegation.
