Boltonia asteroides var. latisquama ‘Jim Crockett’   

This compact cultivar grows just 18-24" and is named for James Crockett, original host of the PBS series, The Victory Garden. It has lavender aster-like flowers, with yellow centers, blooming on strong stems in the fall. Medium to dark green foliage.
